The Alaska Adventure Company, Alaska Helicopter Tours, Alaska Glacier Lodge and Wilderness Place Lodge have teamed up to offer one of the most unique and breathtaking adventure packages in Alaska. This "turn-key" tour is all-inclusive, round-trip from Anchorage.
This non-stop adventure packs in the very best of remote Alaska with your choice of a 3 day/2 night or 4 day/3 night package. This all-encompassing experience includes the following:
Day 1:
- Depart Anchorage for Alaska Glacier Lodge via shuttle, mid-afternoon (site & time tbd).
- 4:30PM or 6:15PM take a 60-minute Alaska Helicopter Glacier Landing Tour (*optional tour upgrades available)
- Check in to private cabin accommodations @ Alaska Glacier lodge. Gourmet dining at the Raven’s Perch Restaurant & overnight (alcoholic beverages additional cost).
Day 2
- Complimentary Breakfast at Raven’s Perch Restaurant
- Depart Alaska Glacier Lodge via helicopter at 8:00 AM or 10:15AM (your choice as available) for Wilderness Place Lodge, a remote deluxe river lodge. Departing at 8:00am allows for more same-day fishing time. 10:15am allows for a more leisurely morning at Alaska Glacier Lodge prior to departure.
- Arrival @ Wilderness Place Lodge: The lodge features outfitted & guided river and lake fishing targeting trout, northern pike and/or salmon based on dates and run timing. Spin and fly fishing are featured.
• (**raft upgrade based on availability): Arrival into the historic log Pioneer Cabin followed by guided day float/raft fishing experience with late afternoon arrival into Wilderness Place Lodge.
- Gourmet Dining in the lodge featuring our chef team of 3 (beer and wine included).
- Overnight in your deluxe private cabin with full bathrooms.
Day 3 (included with 3 night package only)
- 2nd full day at Wilderness Place Lodge: breakfast in the main lodge followed by full day of private guided river fishing (spin or fly fishing) or a northern pike fishing experience at a nearby lake chain. Shore lunch on the water and a gourmet 4-course dinner that evening, and overnight in your private cabin.
Final Day
- Float Plane departure at 12pm for a scenic 45-minute return flight arriving into Anchorage with arrival at 1pm to Lake Hood. If you plan to continue your stay in Alaska, we suggest you upgrade this tour to include overnight at Lakefront Hotel in Anchorage***.
Base Package Prices: - $3,295/person/2 night package -- $4,295/person/3 night package (2 person minimum based on availability).
Available Package Upgrades:
- *Dog-sledding or additional glacier landings: + $200/person
- ** Guided raft fishing trip starting at Pioneer log cabin into Wilderness Place Lodge: + $200/person
- *** Anchorage Lakefront hotel overnight + $100/person on last night.
Not Included: Any gratuities, fishing licenses, and beverages at Knik River Lodge. Inquire for custom adventures.
Extra days can be added at either the Alaska Glacier Lodge and/or Wilderness Place Lodge by request. A variety of additional Helicopter Tours are available to add-on. We can customize this package to meet your ideal expectations. This adventure includes all transportation via shuttle, helicopter and float plane disembarking from Anchorage on Day 1 and returning to Anchorage on the final day of your tour. We advise all guests arrive in Anchorage the evening prior to starting this adventure.
The Tour includes private cabin accommodations with bath at both the Alaska Glacier Lodge and at Wilderness Place Lodge. Beer and Wine is included at Wilderness Place Lodge only. Dinner and breakfast is included at Alaska Glacier Lodge whereas breakfast, lunch and Dinner is included at Wilderness Place Lodge. The Wilderness Place Lodge experience includes personal fishing guide(s), all fishing gear, fishing instruction, waders and guided float trip.
