Alaska Fishing Guide Jobs (2027 Season)

2026 positions are filled. Now accepting 2027 applicants.

Join our professional guiding team and spend your summer on the pristine waters of Lake Creek—one of Alaska’s premier remote river systems. Our guides operate jet boats and rafts while leading guests through world-class fishing for all five species of Pacific salmon, trophy rainbow trout, and northern pike.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Friendly, personable, and guest-focused attitude
  • Experience with spin and/or fly fishing
  • Background operating powerboats or jet boats
  • Ability to obtain required certifications:
    • First Aid & CPR
    • U.S. Coast Guard OUPV (“6-pack”) license (we assist with this)
  • A passion for the outdoors and conservation

Fishing Guide Requirements

Ideal candidates will:

  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Maintain a positive, hardworking attitude
  • Respect and protect natural resources
  • Enjoy sharing stories and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Be comfortable living and working in a remote Alaska setting

Main Lodge Worker / Guide Apprentice

2026 position filled | Great pathway to guiding in future seasons

This role is perfect for someone looking to break into the guiding industry while gaining hands-on lodge experience.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Guest check-in and check-out
  • Managing the tackle shop and outfitting needs
  • Maintaining lodge cleanliness and organization
  • Assisting in bar/lounge service
  • Supporting general lodge operations and maintenance

There is also opportunity to guide part-time, with many team members advancing to full-time guide roles in their second season.

Schedule:

  • Two main seasons:
    • Mid-June to mid-July
    • Mid-July to late August (with a short break in between)

This is a salary + gratuity position, with long but rewarding days and plenty of time to enjoy Alaska’s wilderness.

Chef / Culinary Positions

Our culinary team delivers an exceptional dining experience that rivals top restaurants—right in the Alaskan wilderness.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present meals for guests and staff
  • Manage kitchen operations, safety, and cleanliness
  • Coordinate ordering and food logistics
  • Contribute creativity to menu planning

Ideal Candidates:

  • Have professional culinary training or experience
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Are organized, creative, and detail-oriented
  • Enjoy engaging with guests and sharing their passion for food

Housekeeping / Hospitality Staff

Responsibilities:

  • Daily cleaning and upkeep of guest cabins
  • Assisting with meal service and lodge hospitality
  • Supporting overall guest experience
