Alaska fishing regulations are updated continuously by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and we take them seriously. Wilderness Place Lodge is committed to legal, ethical, and conservative sport fishing — and we ask our guests to be as well.
Our river system falls within Unit 4 of the Southcentral Alaska regulations. General fishing rules apply, along with special restrictions outlined in the Unit 4 section. You can access the current regulations here:
Because regulations can change mid-season, printed copies may not reflect the most current rules. We keep hard copies at the lodge for reference, but always defer to the ADF&G’s Emergency Orders and News Releases for the latest updates.
